Send domain notices to another address
Choose who gets the setup and DNS emails for one domain, such as a colleague or a shared mailbox, while account emails stay with you.
Updated 27 October 2026
Each domain can send its notices to its own notification email. Until you set one, they go to your account email.
Before you start
- The domain is on your account.
- The address that should get its notices, such as
diego@harborpine.netor a shared mailbox.
-
Open the domain’s settings#
Open Domains, select the domain, then open its Settings tab.
-
Enter the address#
In the Domain settings card, type the address into Notification email.
Leave it empty to send the notices to your account email again.
-
Save#
Select Save settings.
The dashboard confirms “Settings saved.”
Each domain has its own setting. The notices for different domains can go to different people.
Which emails go there#
The notification email gets the emails about that domain’s setup and DNS:
| When it is sent | |
|---|---|
| ”Finish setting up lunavera.com” | After you add the domain |
| ”lunavera.com is forwarding email” | When its records verify |
| ”lunavera.com stopped forwarding email” | When its MX or SPF records stop verifying |
| ”lunavera.com needs a new SPF record” | When only its SPF record is wrong |
| ”lunavera.com has not received email since 6 September 2026” | When it has received no email for a while |
Which emails stay with your account email#
Everything about the account and its plan goes to the account email, whatever a domain’s setting says:
- sign-in links, password resets and the email confirmation
- the forwarding limit and usage notices
- plan and payment emails, such as “Your Mailyoto account is on the Free plan” and “Email to some of your addresses is on hold”
Receipts go to the billing email instead. See receipts and tax invoices.
The address is refused
The field reads “Enter a valid email address.” Check the address for a typo or a space, then save again.
