Terms of Service

Last updated: 23 October 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Mailyoto (Pty) Ltd ("Mailyoto", "we", "us"), which operates the Mailyoto email forwarding service at mailyoto.com. By creating an account or using the service, you accept these terms.

Who we are

1. The service

Mailyoto receives email sent to domains you connect and forwards it to destination addresses you choose. Paid plans also include sending email through our SMTP servers, email logs, webhooks, and other features described on our pricing page.

2. Your account

  • You must provide a working email address and keep it current. We use it for security and service notices.
  • You are responsible for keeping your password and SMTP credentials secret, and for all activity under your account.
  • You must only connect domains you own or are authorized to manage.

3. Acceptable use

You must not use Mailyoto to:

  • send spam, bulk unsolicited email, or email that violates the laws of your country or the recipient's country;
  • send phishing messages, malware, or impersonate another person or organization;
  • disrupt the service or attempt to access other users' data;
  • split one project across several accounts to get around your plan's limits.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules. Where reasonable, we will warn you first and explain what needs to change.

4. Plans, billing, and cancellation

  • Prices and plan limits are listed on the pricing page. Prices are in US dollars.
  • Our online reseller, Polar, runs the order process and is the merchant of record for every order. It takes the payment, adds any sales tax or VAT your country requires, and sends your receipts.
  • Paid plans renew automatically, monthly or yearly, until you cancel. You can cancel from your dashboard at any time. Your plan stays active until the end of the paid period, then your account moves to the Free plan.
  • If a renewal payment fails, we retry it and notify you. If payment keeps failing, your account moves to the Free plan and its limits apply.
  • If a charge is wrong, or you want your money back, contact us within 30 days of the charge. Our Refund Policy explains how refunds work.

5. Your data and content

Email passing through Mailyoto belongs to you and your correspondents. We process it only to provide the service. See the Privacy Policy for what we store and for how long. We do not sell your data and we do not read your email except where required to operate the service (for example, automated spam and abuse filtering) or where you ask us to investigate a delivery problem.

6. Service availability

We work to keep the service available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Email delivery also depends on third parties (DNS, the sender's and recipient's providers) that we do not control. We are not liable for losses caused by delayed, undelivered, or misdelivered email, except where the law does not allow that limitation.

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect damages such as lost profits or lost data.

8. Changes to the service or these terms

We may change the service and these terms. For meaningful changes we will notify you by email at least 14 days in advance. If you keep using the service after a change takes effect, you accept the updated terms. If you don't agree, cancel your account before the change takes effect.

9. Closing your account

You can delete your account from the dashboard at any time. Deleting the account removes your domains, aliases, and logs as described in the Privacy Policy.
