No sender can skip the spam and blocklist checks
What makes Mailyoto refuse a sender on every account, and how to ask us to review a refused email.
Updated 29 October 2026
Mailyoto runs the same spam and blocklist checks for every account, and no account can switch them off for a sender.
What gets a sender refused#
| reason | where the fix sits |
|---|---|
The message scores 4.5 or more as spam | The sender: their content, SPF, DKIM or sending server. See spam checks. |
| The sender’s server or domain is on a public blocklist | The sender: the refusal names the list and its delisting page. |
| The destination provider requires DMARC alignment, the message isn’t aligned, and SPF doesn’t prove the sender | The sender’s DMARC, SPF and DKIM. See Email refused because of DKIM. |
Asking us to review a refusal#
- Open Logs and search for the sender’s address. A refused message shows as Failed.
- Choose Show details and copy the Reference.
- Email the reference to support, with a line on who the sender is.
- Support
- support@mailyoto.com
We look into that refusal. Any fix we make applies to the filters for everyone, not to one account.
If the refusal says Mailyoto itself blocks the sender’s IP address, the sender writes to the address in that refusal.
Related settings that do exist#
- Blocked senders refuses one sender for one alias. That is the opposite of an allow list: see block one sender.
- A webhook destination with
skip_spam_check=truein its URL skips the spam check, but only when every recipient of the message is such a webhook.
