Import aliases from a list
Add as many aliases as your plan allows on a domain at once, from a pasted list or a CSV file, and read the result for each line.
Updated 29 October 2026
When you finish, every alias on your list forwards email, and a table tells you what happened to each line.
Before you start
- A domain in Mailyoto.
- Room on your plan for the new aliases: each domain takes 15 on Free, 200 on Pro and 600 on Max.
- The aliases and their destinations, as a list or a CSV file.
-
Open the import page#
On the domain’s Forwarding tab, select Import aliases above the table.
-
Paste the list#
In Aliases to import, put one alias per line: the address first, then its destinations. Separate the parts with a comma, a semicolon or a tab. A CSV file or spreadsheet columns then paste as they are.

- A line can have up to 10 destinations.
- The page ignores a first line that starts with

Fix the lines the page flags#
The page checks each line as you type, and names each line it can’t use, with the reason. It leaves those lines out until you fix them. It also leaves out a line that repeats an earlier address, and imports the first one.
-
Import#
Select the button under the list. It names the count, such as “Add 3 aliases”.
Read the result#
When the import finishes, a table gives one result per line:
| Result | What it means |
|---|---|
| Added | The alias exists and forwards email. |
| Refused | Mailyoto didn’t add it. The row says why, such as an address that already exists. |
| Skipped | The line had a problem the page found before sending it. |
| Not sent | The import stopped before this line, usually because the domain reached its plan’s alias limit. |
Fix the cause of any Refused or Not sent line, then import those lines again. Lines already added stay as they are.
Limits#
- A list can have as many lines as your plan allows aliases on one domain. See plan limits. A longer list won’t import: remove lines first.
- Existing aliases stay as they are. Mailyoto refuses an alias that already exists. To change its destinations, edit it on the Forwarding tab.
To add many domains at once, see Import many domains.
