Stop forwarded spam
Where Report spam on a forwarded email sends the complaint, and the dashboard tools that stop the spam at Mailyoto.
Updated 27 October 2026
On a forwarded email, Report spam files a complaint against Mailyoto’s servers, not against the spammer.
Where the report goes#
Your mailbox provider received the email from Mailyoto. The complaint is about Mailyoto.
Forwarded email carries a yotosend.com signature, which mailbox providers use to send complaints back to us.
When enough complaints arrive, providers start refusing forwarded email for every account.
What to do instead#
Delete the email. Then pick the tool that matches the spam.
| the spam | what to use |
|---|---|
| One sender keeps writing to one alias | Blocked senders on that alias. See Blocking one sender. |
| An alias only gets junk now | Pause this alias on the Forwarding tab, or delete it. |
| Newsletters and promotions you never signed up for | Keep only important email on that alias. See keep only important email. |
| Junk to addresses you never created | Delete the Catch-all, or point it somewhere else. See aliases and the catch-all. |
Phishing, fraud and threats#
Forward the email to our abuse address with its full headers. The headers show the route it took.

- abuse@mailyoto.com
The abuse page lists what to include in a report.
Complaints and your account#
Complaints that reach us name the domain behind the forwarded email. We review that domain’s recent email. The Terms of Service let us suspend or close an account that breaks the rules on that page.
